Additionally, the sentence is rendered in its original form: a gridded format of partial boxes both large and small. The first line is the sentence in its purest form (the one that people write with most often), then once in guiding lines to help segmentation of some of the trickier glyphs , and the third time it uses writing lines, which is generally used to help beginners write the text. Notice the foreign symbol Sč is treated differently in handwriting and in traditional format: the diagonal line only ever appears in foreign symbols, and if no ambiguity is present can be omitted.

This particular thing is based on Shinmera’s code which I (no doubt rather badly, as this is the first time I actually wrote Python) extended to take data from two websites and extension of units. It now returns weather data here.

It takes two parameters: one of -f for FORECAST.IO, or -h for HKO; then one of -s for simple units, or -t (or anything else) for True Blue SI Units.

Many shortcomings can be found (like the whole “-t or anything else” thing) and I intend to fix this up to make it better in the future.

These two passages are in English, but the orthography that is used to write them is in Chinese.

Transliteration begins:

1. I am writing English the same way Vietnamese do. Notice that every word is written in characters, including grammatical structures and non-Chinese words. If there are no Chinese Characters available, then one can construct one using the phono-semantic principle. As you can imagine, one needs a lot of made-up and appropriated characters. (To be honest, this and the next passage should be written vertically.)

2. I am now writing English in the same way Japanese do. Notice how grammatical structures and some non-English words are still spelt out using Latin letters. The way it is written however sometimes can leave pronunciations undetermined. Non-Chinese characters are kept to a minimum and there is a backup phonetic system when characters fail – but no spaces.
